Christine, baby feeding advisor and mum

I’ve been a C&G baby club feeding advisor for over 15 years and I feel really proud of the way I’ve been able to help all of the mums-to-be and mums I’ve spoken with. My expertise as a baby feeding advisor means I can help people solve their feeding challenges, such as how to establish a good feeding routine or answering breastfeeding queries.

My top tips

  • Get out of the house, even if it’s just for a walk around the block. You’ll be amazed at how a bit of sunlight and fresh air can make everything seem much better.
  • Try and make the daytime and night time environments very different so that they get used to knowing the difference between the time of day.
  • Trust your instincts; if you’re concerned about your baby’s health, seek advice from your health visitor or doctor.

About me

During my first pregnancy I worried that I would make a fool out of myself in some way during labour and that I wouldn’t be able to cope with the pain. But of course I did manage and everything turned out absolutely fine.

I found the experience of being pregnant and then having my baby to be totally life changing - and a bit scary at first but luckily that quickly changed. Babies are so rewarding and the bond between you is something no one can ever take away from you.
