Doesn't matter
Birdseed or stale bread

A nice, calm game to play that will teach patience and recognition is feeding the birds. Toddlers love birds, but they can get excited and don’t always understand that being noisy can scare them away.

Place a bird feeder or table outside your window with some feed or bread on it. Each day, when you notice a bird is feeding, take your toddler to the window and show them the exciting visitor. Talk in a whisper and get them to practice whispering too, then try naming the different birds to help them learn. The real skill here is to sit quietly and observe, which will eventually teach your toddler to be quiet and gentle around animals, and also improve their concentration.
