Sticky tape, string, colourful paper, scissors, colouring pens
With this fun activity, you can go fishing without getting anything wet!

First, ball up some sticky tape with the sticky bit on the outside and stick it to the end of a piece of string (about 30cm long) – this is your ‘fishing pole’. Then cut out some fish shapes from the paper – you could get your toddler to draw patterns on them. Once the fish are decorated, you’re ready for some fishing fun! Simply use your sticky fishing pole to try and get the fish. Whoever catches the most wins!

This is great way to teach your toddler about colours and counting, and also helps with hand-eye co-ordination.
