Running, rolling, swinging and jumping can help improve your toddler’s agility and co-ordination – not to mention use up all that extra energy and tire them out!

Toddler gymnastics can be as simple as letting them tumble around and climb all over you. Make sure they’ve got a good, wide area that’s free from hazards – a soft lawn is best. Put a blanket down with lots of cushions and let the games begin.

You can give them a piggyback, spin them around, attempt handstands together… whatever makes your toddler laugh the most. But it might be best to do it before dinner, rather than after!
