Some interesting scenery

Toddlers are endlessly fascinated by the world around them. There are so many new, exciting things to see! One way to build their knowledge and vocabulary is to point interesting objects out to them.

Stand at a window or outside and name what you can see. It might be a pussy cat, a bird, a big green tree or a red car – by pointing to it and giving it a name, your toddler will soon learn to associate the word with the object.

Playing the game regularly and pointing out the same things, as well as new sights, can help to improve your toddler’s memory.
