Extraordinary fact
As your toddler starts to drink less milk during the day, it’s important to keep them hydrated with water – preferably from a beaker not the washing up bowl!

Having a splish splash outside on a sunny day is great fun for your toddler! Simply fill a washing up bowl with water, add a few plastic pots, bottles and scoops and show them how to pour water from one container to another. To make things more colourful, add a dash of food colouring. And don’t forget to have a towel close to hand, as things are bound to get messy!
While pouring water can help improve your toddler’s hand/eye coordination, it’s important that you supervise this activity and don’t leave them alone with the water.
