I want to thank the people who replyed to my question on wooden floors. I went to a play group and they had some foam mats down for the babys as they had a wooden floor there. I searched everywhere for some that were simalar but with no luck. I then looked on e-bay and there is shop on there called little generation and they do foam mats that are each 30cm square and you get 36 in the pack (26 of the squares each have letters on them a capatal and a lower case letter) and they have the numbers 0 - 9. The letters and numbers can come out so that when your child/children are older they can make simple words. The squares fit together and if they are put into a square they measure 6ft x 6ft or you can arange them however you want. They are priced at £17.95 and it is £4.95 for postage.I think they are well worth the money to stop falls on to hard flooring! I hope that other moms or dads will find this information usefull. Thanks for reading
