hi, was just wondering if anyone has found themselves in a situation similar to mine. i had my first child 5 yrs ago and he was born with a rare bowel and bladder condition. he doesn't eat food, he has atificial nutrition given to him via a tube in his chest. it was a hard decision for my partner and i to decide wether or not to try for another baby . we had genetic councelling and they couldn't give us a risk percentage of the illness happening in another child as the condition is so rare. we decided to go for it, no child of ours would ever be short of love. we now have a happy bouncing baby boy of 4 mths and are sooooo glad we made the right choice to have another.he shows no sign of having the illness. my son adores his brother !theres always hope and now i have two rays of sunshine to brighten my day!!!
