My babies too big!

Hi,Ive just been told by my Doctor that my 6 month old is too big! He's 19lb 12oz and is quite tall for his age but the doctor seemed to indicate that he was way above average.He was 4 weeks prem and has suffered terribly from colic but is otherwise healthy.His dad is very tall,not huge build. Should I be worried? Im inclined to ignore the doctor but I was just wondering if anyone else has a whopper!
