I can understand where you are coming from. I fully dilated but the baby I could not push her out I had gas/air and diamorphine. I was taken to theatre, given a spinal and had forceps delivery. I wish I could have experienced pushing the baby out and I felt as though I had missed out on that part of the birth especially since another lady in ward with me did not have spinal and had forceps delivery also. It was also a trainee being guided who delivered my daughter and I feel as though they wanted a guinea pig to practise on, hence the spinal. I also ended up loosing a lot of blood and having a transfusion. All you have to focus on now is that your baby is here safe and sound, these feeling you have now will pass I am sure.
