Emergency C Section

Hi, I'm a new mum to Roxanne she is 2 weeks old. She was delivered by emergency C Section and it is taking me a while to come to terms with the fact that she is here.

I feel that I have not fully completed the mission of giving birth. I was 8cm dilated and my contractions were coming 10 mins apart before I was examined and they found out that she was in a breech position. I felt like everything had been taken out of my hands and I was not in control.

My husband has been great with his support and I can talk to him about anything, but unfortunately this is something that he can't help me with.

I wondered if anybody else has had these feelings.
