The thought of going back to work and leaving your baby with someone you don't know well is really quite hard to deal with. I went back to work full time after No1 was born, after much searching I found a wonderful nursery and even though I knew he would be fine I still cried every day in the car on the way to work for a week. However, I kept reminding myself that it was benefiting not just me but him. He really enjoys the company of the other children and the range of stimulating activities that he does is amazing, i'm not sure I could fit it all in if I stayed at home with him. There are advantages and disadvantages of staying at home and going back to work, the most important thing is to remember to do whats best for baby and you and not to read any of the rubbish articles in the newspapers about working mums vs stay at home mums. We all do a great job whatever we do!!!
