Advice requred on what to feed baby when they have diahorrea

Hello there can any one offer any advise.

my eight month old baby has developed diahorrea and has now had it for six days. I have been to the doctors twice and they have advised me to carry on feeding her as normal, she normally has formula milk at the beginning and the end of each day and breakfast, dinner and tea. The only thing they have given me is dioroltye which is a powder to add to water to stop her dehidrating. She does not show any signs of getting better, if anything carrying on feeding her is making her worse.. I am getting through about 20 nappies a day.. Can anyone offer any advise on what to feed her as I desperately want her to get better
