Having trouble with Comfort - any advice?

Hi there. My 7 week old suffers really badly with colic and we have tried every potion on the market. As a last resort our HV suggested we try him on Comfort. I have therefore stopped breastfeeding but found that he is in absolute agony when trying to poo. He has only been on the formula for 2 days and I was wondering if this is a normal thing to happen or whether it's just not right for him? I am still expressing milk in cae I need to go back to breastmilk but would rather just keep him on one or the other. Any similar experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
