We suspected that my son is allergic to milk, sine he was getting a rash on his face and neck if milk touched his skin. He didn't have any other symptoms, but we had his blood tested, and the results confirmed what we thought all along. He has a very low allergy to milk (class 1) so all we have to do for now, is to avoid cow's milk until he is 1 year old. Then we can try introducing it again.
My HV is great and she will refer us to a dietician, so we get proper advice. The letter from the hospital only said to avoid cow's milk,so yesterday I used goats milk, cheese and butter, and he is responding well to this.
I think until you get the tests done, you better treat your daughter like you would if it was confirmed, just to be on the safe side.
