Hi my baby has been diagnosed with reflux since 4 weeks old and we've been through 7 different milks.
Since he was about 10 weeks old, he's now 18, he has been on Nutramigen 1, only on prescription. Its been a godsend, no more wind pains, much less reduced reflux, we can lie him down after a feed and he hardly pukes. Much more contented and settled.
Could you get your GP to prescribe this, especially if its recommended/suggested by your HV, which is was in our case.
I can't recommend this highly enough, i was getting to the point of not wanting/dreading feeding times and it was making my PND much worse.
Feeding is so important and now i love feeding my child. I am now looking to reduce the gaviscon as suggested by his paediatrician, as he does get a little bunged up now and again. I think his is a mild case though. Another baby I know is on several medications for it. We are lucky.
Take care and good luck.
