hi, when you say the baby measures 30cm, are you refering to the midwife measuring your bump?? i was told by my midwife they expect you to be the same amount of cms as you are in weeks, but 2 cms above and below is still classed as normal. i was the opposite to you and measuring smaller than my dates, i was given a number of growth scans which like yourself i was concerned about, but i had nothing to worry about. my baby isn't small yet i'm still measuring smaller then my dates!! i think it depends on the individual person, everyones body is different as is every pregnancy, people carry differently, some babys are tucked well away, others are further forward. also you measuring bigger than your dates could be due to the fluid not baby.
a growth scan shouldn't be anything to worry about, hopefully you will be offered one to put your mind at rest and reassure you! even if your baby is bigger than average, you could still have a normal birth, i know a girl who naturally gave birth to a 10lb5 baby!!!!!
i hope this has helped put your mind at ease a little. i hope everything turns out well for you. all the best, take care xx
