I have had 2 sections, the first an emergency after a long labour and the second planned due to complications. My advice is to relax, prepare a list of questions not just for your midwife but for your consultant (if you can get to speak to him/her) and don't be afraid to make a birth plan for the actual operation - I did - and don't be intimidated. The risks involved are very low. I found the whole experience less stressful than I thought it would be second time around and really enjoyed it. Don't feel guilty about not having a natural delivery, just concentrate on the wonderful baby you are going to have.
