I used a normal gym one, which was about a fiver from B&Q of all places! It was so comfy to sit on, I know some people even sit on them at their desk at work! I also bounced on it to speed up my contractions when in labour - def worked.
I now use it to rock my baby off to sleep, I sit and bounce cradling her and she is asleep in minutes..reckon she is used to the months of bouncing that I did when pregnant!
Some people actually lie their baby on it and gently roll it back and forth when the baby has a tummy pain. It is also fab for stomoach crunches to get your tummy flat again, and - oh and I also use it as a footstall!!
