I've tried everything - a hot milky drink before bed, a warm relaxing bath, taking the dog for a walk to "wear me out", cutting out caffeine, not eating too late... everything!
The minute I go to bed, that's it - I can't sleep. My legs get really restless and hot, then I can't get comfortable (no matter how hard I try!) then my hands start hurting... I get up, walk around the house a bit, read my book, but no... sleep evades me. I'm only 22 weeks pregnant - I dread to think how I'm going to be in a few weeks time when the kicks are keeping me awake!
I had a grand total of 1½ hours sleep last night and am now in work absolutely shattered! Worst of all, I'm keeping my poor fiancee awake - bless him!
Please, please, please, if anyone has any tips on how to get myself to sleep, I would be eternally grateful!!
