is glossing safe?

i just wondered if anyone out there had used gloss paint while they were pregnant. just wanting to get on with the nursery but dont want to use it if its dangerous! it doesnt say on the tin that it is non toxic or low sulphur.

hi i varnished and painted when i was about 4months and to be honest i didnt really think but the paint i used was'nt strong smelling so cant see why not aslong as its not strong and u have all the windows in the room open.

hi
i actually moved into my new house when i was 7 1/2 months pregnant and spent a whole week just glossing all my doors never had any problems with it think it is fine as long as you take it easy the only problem i had was that glossing is a pain in the butt. if it was at all unsafe then it would have a warning on the tin hope this helps natalie.
