Hi there ladies I've just received a scan to find out whether my placenta which was low had moved up out the way. It has moved uo fine, but have been told by amniotic fluid levels are very low (deepest pool was 1.5cm) the blood flow through the cord is fine. I am to be re-scanned in 10 days time as it may be a sign that my placenta function may not be as efficient. I have been given 3 possible scenario's (1) I was dehydrated on the day and fluid levels may increase by the next scan (2) The fluid levels may remain low and the blood flow may still be good, and will be induced (3) as no. 2 but blood flow has decreased' and will have a c-section. I haven't leaked and was curious to know if this is fairly common and what you other ladies who suffered this experienced. I feel guilty that I may have done something wrong, yet I dont know what more I could have done to protect her. I gave up smoking I eat better than before. Is it just luck of the draw? She is a beautiful baby though.
