hi. i've been suffering from painful backache too - can't seem to get comfortable anyywhere. my sister is a physiotherapistand she suggested pelvic tilts - either standing against the wall or lying with legs bent. also get on all fours and arch back, hold for five,, release. and swimming using a float under your back and exercising your legs. oh and the old hot water bottle! my midwive recommended paracetamol and heat patches. hope that helps.
