I've heard midwives talk about the 321 weight gain proccess. Basically, if you're underweight, you should gain on average 3 stone, if you're the correct weight, it should be 2 stone and if you're overweight, it should be 1 stone. But as we all know, everyone's different. I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my third child and I've put on 3 stone already, with my last, I put on three stone in total and with my first, i put on 2 stone. So I seem to be gaining an extra stone every time! and all of them are boys so it's not like theres a difference due to the sex of the babies either!! So long as your midwife is happy with your 'bump' measurement, your fine and don't let anyone put you down!!
