Working in a smokey environment

Hi everyone,

I gave up smoking as soon as I found out I was pregnant with no trouble at all. Every time I feel a craving I just think of my unborn baby and that works for me.

The problem is, back in May I suffered an injury which meant I could not continue doing the job I did at the time so had to leave.

To make ends meet, I took up a role where my friend is the manager at a local public house. So..... basically I've given up smoking however, I work here Monday-Friday 12-6 and breath in everyone elses smoke.

What are the implications of passive smoking on my unborn child (as I'm only approx 6 weeks)?

I cannot afford to give up work at this time with our outgoings and find it impossible to find something else being pregnant.

Thanks, Eva
