Your toddler’s digestion at 12 - 18 months

12 - 18 months: your toddler’s digestion

Learn about your toddler’s growing stomach, how much they should now be eating and why added salt and sugar are still a no-no.

As their stomach grows, your toddler will have room for more meals and snacks on top of their three meals a day. Which means plenty of opportunities to introduce new flavours! Just remember that their digestive system has a long way to go before it’s fully developed and not all adult foods are suitable for toddlers – they still need a varied diet that’s low in salt and sugar.
