      Ingredients

      • 1 pear
      • Approximately 100ml water (reserve after cooking)
      • 1 tbsp unsweetened natural yoghurt

      Method

      1. Peel, core and chop the pear.
      2. Place the pear in a pan and cover with water, replace lid and allow to simmer for 6–7 minutes on a medium heat. Alternatively you can steam for 6–7 minutes.
      3. Drain and purée the pear, adding the cooking water to achieve a smooth consistency.
      4. Cool and mix a small amount with 1 tbsp of yoghurt.
