Pear purée
Suitable from around 6 months
Cooking time: 12 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 ripe pear
- 4 tbsp water
- 60ml of your baby’s usual milk (optional)
Method
- Peel, core and quarter pear. Cut each quarter into 3 smaller pieces.
- Gently cook in a saucepan with 4 tbsp of water, covered, for 10−12 mins, until soft. Stir occasionally.
- Cool slightly, then blend with a food processor or hand blender. If you want, add a little of your baby’s usual milk to get a smooth texture.
